Samsung Galaxy S21 FE arrives in 2021, but with a big snag

Samsung will soon present one of the most anticipated Android smartphones of the year, its Galaxy S21 FE. It will be the cheapest top of the range of the South Korean giant, but due to the scarcity of chips and semiconductors, it could only arrive with SoC Exynos.

Although previous rumors pointed to the use of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 processor, Samsung will be reconsidering this choice. Faced with the lack of components, the solution would be to use your own Exynos.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE can forgo the Snapdragon 888

Without jeopardizing the product launch, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will arrive during the version, or early autumn, but given the difficulties in obtaining the necessary quantities of components, the technology may change the product specification list.

The news is advanced this Thursday (1) by the South Korean publication Maeil Business . The same news was, however, shared by user Sleepy Kuma on the social network Twitter, blaming the limited amount of available processors.

Given the above, the solution to be considered by Samsung is the use of its own Exynos processors. If this is implemented this would bring the Galaxy S21 FE with this component to Europe, North America and more markets.

The solution will involve using Samsung's Exynos processors

The aforementioned source also attributes the difficulties felt by Samsung in launching new smartphones to this problem. The South Korean company will be purposely delaying the presentation of new products until it can secure the necessary quantities of components.

Among the targeted products will be this Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. The successor to one of the most popular smartphones of 2020, the Galaxy S20 FE which came to us in two versions - 4G (with Exynos chip) and 5G - with Qualcomm's Snapdragon chip.

This same factor will also have contributed to the cancellation of the Galaxy Note range for 2021. Therefore, the option to change the processor for this mid-range smartphone is not without logic or plausibility.

We are now waiting for the official presentation of the new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. It also remains to be seen whether the manufacturer will present a single variant, or will offer us two versions, as in 2020.
