Following the introduction of the GT3 Turing version in recent days, it is now time for the Carrera GTS version of this iconic model to make the new 911 family more crowded and diverse. This version falls into the category between the Carrera S and the turbo versions.
Compared to the Carrera S, the new version of the GTS has more power and a sportier performance. Powering this version is the same 3-liter inline six-cylinder Porsche turbocharged engine, the engine is tuned so that the GTS can produce 473 horsepower and 569 Nm of torque. It is worth mentioning that this generation of GTS has 30 horsepower compared to the output of the Carrera S engine and 23 horsepower compared to the previous generation GTS.
Power transmission on the 911 Carrera GTS 2022 is assigned to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic or a seven-speed manual. For faster shifts, Porsche has reduced the displacement of the manual transmission shifter by 10 mm. This version of the 911 will be sold in rear differential and dual differential versions, as well as coupe, cabriolet and targa rooms. It is important to note that the Targa 4 GTS will only be available with two differentials.
According to Porsche, the Carrera 4 GTS, if equipped with an automatic transmission, accelerates to 100 km / h in 3.3 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than the previous generation. Prices for the Carrera GTS, the cheapest version of the series, start at $ 136,700. A higher category is the Carrera 4 GTS, which is priced at $ 144,000.

The 911 GTS 2022 will be delivered with the latest generation of Porsche Infotainment system, called Porsche Communication Management.
In addition to upgrading the engine and face, the GTS series has also been revised in terms of suspension and its height has been reduced by 10 mm. In parallel with the increase in engine output, the braking system has also been strengthened and in fact turbo series brakes have been used in this version.
For this series of 911 Lightweight packages can be ordered, which if selected, will reduce the overall weight of the car by about 25 kg.
