In September we will get to know the new family of high-end smartphones with the Apple seal. By many dubbed the iPhone 13, this family will consist of four models, but one of the main innovations will be reserved for the Pro models.
This is affirmed by renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in a recent note sent to investors. In this document, Kuo describes one of the great news for the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max camera.
iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max will receive wide angle lens with auto focus
It's generally known that Apple will make changes to the iPhone 13's cameras. Rumors are consistent and point to larger sensors on all models with the aim of improving the overall performance of the cameras.
iPhone 13
As for the premium pair - the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max - Apple has something new for its wide-angle lenses. These will be equipped with autofocus technology, copying what already happens in the main sensors.
The purpose of including this technology is to provide the user with sharper results. A redoubled effort to reduce the digital noise present in images captured with our smartphone cameras.
This technology will be exclusive to the Pro models only in the generation that we will get to know in September. For 2022, with the possible iPhone 14 generation, autofocus on the wide-angle lens is expected to cover the entire family of Apple smartphones.
A strategy that follows Apple's standards. Note, for example, the introduction of sensor stabilization on the iPhone 12 Pro Max only, but this year it should include the four models to be presented.
Another new feature that should be exclusive to the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max will be its ProMotion screen, with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. It remains to be seen whether, also in 2022, we will see this technology include all the equipment of the American giant.
