Update of the 1st season of CoD: Black Ops Cold War nerf popular weapons

Activision and Treyarch released the first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on Wednesday (16). With it, a big update also reached the servers, where popular weapons ended up nerfed.

Assault rifles have undergone more changes compared to other armaments. The AK-47 and Krig 6 had their headshot multipliers reduced. The former's damage has decreased when the 20 ″ Spetsnaz RPK pipe is attached.

Meanwhile, FFAR1 received a small boost: its recoil was reduced, and damage from a distance was increased. The update also promoted nerfs in shotguns and tactical rifles, which lost firepower from a distance.

The submachine guns were the big “winners” of the patch, like the Milano 821, KSP 45, and Bullfrog gained damage buffs from a distance. The M60 received improvements in swap speed and aiming. Finally, Magnum's fire and damage rate increased from a distance.

Three new maps appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War: The Pines, set in an 80s mall in New Jersey; Raid, known among Black Ops II fans; and Nuketown '84 Holiday, a Christmas version of Nuketown '84.
