According to Apple, the award presents the App Store logo in aluminum 100% recycled , with the winner's name engraved on the opposite side. In total there were 17 of these prizes were produced to deliver them to the 15 App winners, plus two additional to keep at Apple Park .
Apple sends a present to the winners of the «App Store Best»
This was conceived and produced by the same design team that manufactures the various of its products. And as corresponds to everything prepared by Apple, has been designed to generate the least environmental impact.
Thus, is has used the same metal with which other devices of the company are manufactured: 6R 01 , Apple's custom aluminum grade consisting of a blend 100% recycled excess aluminum from the manufacturing process of Mac products.
Since this week, the winners of 2020 App Store Best have started receiving their physical trophies by mail. One of them, Andrés Canella, co-founder of Wakeout and winner of the best Apple iPhone application of 2020, did not hesitate to share his emotion through a message on Twitter:

For their part, representatives of Fantastical , winner of the Mac application of the year, also shared several images of their App Store Best award in a blog post.
Along with the award itself, the winners also received a note signed by Apple CEO Tim Cook , which can be seen in the images below.
