World Surf League consists of six chapters. The first of these next to be released this week will be the introduction of what Apple has described as a "rich exploration" of the people who make up the World Surf League Men's and Women's Championship Tour 2021, taking viewers on a journey to some of the most incredible surf spots in the world.
Apple TV + launches a docuserie about the most famous surfers in the world.
According to the docuseries' presentation, it will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the "aspirations, failures and achievements" of the world's best surfers as they battle for the World Surf League title.
The first episode will take place in Hawaii, and throughout the program, we will see recordings in the paradisiacal settings that will include Santa Cruz, California; New South Wales, Australia; Papara, Tahiti; Taghazout Bay, Morocco; Bali, Indonesia; Tuamotus, French Polynesia; Netanya, Israel. All venues of the most important surfing competitions.
Fans of this sport will have the opportunity to see a little more closely the preparation of the highest-ranked stars in the world, such as Italo Ferreira, Gabriel Medina, Jordy Smith, Caroline Marks, Lakey Peterson, and Stephanie Gilmore at the world championships.
In addition to following their protagonists' adventures, the docuserie will immerse themselves in different surf cultures and visit sports topics such as eco-conservation, sustainability, and marine preservation. Box Films and the World Surf League have teamed up to produce the documentary series for Apple.
