Resident Evil Village will have “extreme violence” according to indicative classification

As expected, Resident Evil Village is a game for adults (18 years old). According to the indicative classification, through the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, the game will have " extreme violence. " One reason is the “ corpse exposure aggravated by scene composition and interaction. “

It is worth mentioning that the document mentions only the classifications for the PS5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC platforms. Thus, it is possible that Resident Evil Village will not actually be released for PS4 and Xbox One, something still considered by fans and by Capcom itself.

According to the studio, the new game will close Ethan's arc, the protagonist introduced in RE7. The character had a baby with Mia Winters, and the family seems to live in peace and harmony until a “tragic event” (as the game's official description says) changes that.

The next title in the famous horror franchise is planned for 2021. A rumor in July indicated that Resident Evil Village could arrive in June next year.

Resident Evil Village will run in dynamic 4K and with Ray Tracing on PS5.

According to the PlayStation website's official game page, the game will run in dynamic 4K resolution and with Ray Tracing on PlayStation 5.  Also, the game will feature almost instant loadings, thanks to the SSD of the new console, tactile feedback of the DualSense controller, promising to feel the firing of the weapons as if it were real, and adaptive triggers, “for an even more immersive experience” in the Resident Evil Village gameplay.
