How to claim a Cyberpunk 2077 refund for PS4 and PS5

The troubled launch of Cyberpunk 2077 prompted CD Projekt RED to issue an official statement apologizing for the state of the game on the base consoles and offering a refund. Despite a great deal of initial confusion, Sony has now opened procedures for dissatisfied players to make restitution.

See how easy it is:

• Enter this official Sony page HERE


• Log in with your account - the one that owns the game - by clicking on the LOGIN button


• That done, a button will appear - at the bottom of the page - with the words “click here to send your refund request”. Click on it and you're done.


• NOTE: if the button does not appear - even when logged in - refresh the page.

After the above procedures, if there is a Cyberpunk 2077 in the account, Sony must process the refund. Remembering that there is no deadline for this to happen.

In addition to this method, there is another one that is a little more bureaucratic:

1. Go to PlayStation's " Contact Us " page.


2. Scroll down to “PS Store and refund”.


3. Do not click on “PlayStation Store Refunds and Pre-Sales” as you will be returned to the initial session.


4. Click on any of the options below and request a chat with an attendant.


5. On the home page of the chat, just enter the name, surname, email, PSN ID and reason for the contact, choose the most relevant option, such as "Help with a game".


6. Wait in line for the attendant to contact you and request a refund.
