Granblue Fantasy Relink development issues
Announced four years ago, the Cygames title was surrounded by several problems in its development and many fans were concerned that the game had been canceled. In January, the game director had already calmed players down due to a lack of information. The reason was the debut of another game in the franchise, Granblue Fantasy Versus.
Cygames was not the only developer that was part of the project. PlatinumGames, famous for Bayonetta and Nier: Automata, was also responsible for the game. However, in February 2019, the studio said it would no longer work on the Granblue Fantasy Relink after the contract was terminated.
