Apple files a patent on Apple Watch
Apple employees have registered a new patent for the company entitled "Pressure measurement designs". The patent 10.646. 121 describes a way to measure blood pressure accurately without using additional accessories.
This novelty would increase the number of people who can check their blood pressure. They will only need their Apple Watch, they will not need to buy any bracelet to do it.
The patent describes blood pressure in a wearable device like this:
“Measuring the pressure can be very useful to monitor one or more user parameters. For example, blood pressure measurements can be helpful in measuring high blood pressure (hypertension) as it is an indicator of potential health problems. ”
In addition, the patent also indicates that pressure measurements can also be indicative of a user's heart rate. On some occasions, pressure measurements can provide blood pressure morphologies, which should be monitored.

What Apple proposes with this patent is, instead of having sensors integrated through a bracelet or another additional device, the watch itself incorporates them. A combination of software and hardware would ensure that the sensors calculate accurate readings.
