The video shows a mission in which the player's goal is to find the executive director of Aquilus. During gameplay, we noticed similarities between the mission environment and the Seaside map in multiplayer mode.

The disclosure of the video is in line with the company's statements before the launch of the shooter at the time. According to Dan Bunting, one of Treyarch's executives, the idea of running a traditional campaign never entered the studio's mind.
When we decided to develop this game, it never crossed our minds that we were going to do a traditional campaign. It just wasn't part of our plan (this feature). We started from a place where the decision was to make a game that can be played with friends. This was our mission from day one.
In 2019, Kotaku upset the American studio by revealing behind the scenes behind working conditions at Treyarch. One of the chapters in the article highlighted that the campaign mode was in development, but had to be canceled on two occasions.
The company's idea was to have a 2 vs.2 cooperative campaign . Players would work together to complete goals. Due to technical problems and lack of time, the proposal was shelved in two different phases of the project.
