Xiaomi is possibly one of the fastest growing manufacturers in recent years, affirming itself as a benchmark in various market segments. Present in virtually all technology segments (smartphones, smart tv, smart gadgets and more), it already has more than 500 million users worldwide.
An interesting comparison to have a better idea of the importance of these numbers, there are 170 million more Xiaomi users, than the total population of the United States (330 million).
The information was revealed by Zhou Guangping - CFO of Xiaomi - during an interview. Guangping said that strong revenue growth during the first quarter of 2019 ( 31.8%) was only possible thanks to the growth in the number of users.
The growth of Xiaomi has no limits
The strategy of the Chinese manufacturer is working wonders. While many have criticized their various bets on the various segments, this bet is showing excellent results.
Instead of establishing itself as a benchmark in the world of smartphones, Xiaomi is already famous for many other products. Although many of them are still exclusive to the Asian continent, such as their Smart TVs, they should eventually reach Europe as well.
In the long run, it appears that Xiaomi is able to establish itself as one of the most popular manufacturers in a wide variety of segments and markets. Especially because, it ensures a great consistency in the quality of its products, and extremely competitive prices.
Thus, with the recognition of its brand being globalized, its growth should continue to show a stable and wide evolution.
