Hacker installs original Xbox emulator on a Nintendo Switch

It does not contain Nintendo, but the hacker and Xbox enthusiast known as "Voxel9" has published in his YouTube account a video showing that he was able to install and run the first Xbox emulator on a Switch. The emulation is far from perfect, there are some gags, but it was possible to initialize the device and even run some classic titles.

The first game to appear was Halo: Combat Evolved , the first in Microsoft's far-flung first-person shooter franchise. You may notice a sudden drop in the frame rate, but at least the game itself does not fall, forcing the shutdown. After walking through the menus and watching the initial animation of the game, you can see the player walking with your character.

Already the second game was Jet Set Radio Future , a classic so old of the first console of Microsoft that is not even available by the backward compatibility of the current Xbox One. Never ported and exclusive to the video game, the game ran so slowly in the emulator that Voxel9 had to accelerate it four times to simulate the actual frames of the titles.
