According to data published by Sensor Tower, the future of Apple will not be dependent on iPhone sales, but its subscription services. The company predicts that over the next 4 years, revenue from the App Store will double thanks to the new services.
In addition to the usual in-app purchases, one of the big responsible for this great growth will be the various subscription services. I would remind you that recently Tim Cook's company has introduced three new subscription services dedicated to news, games and television.
Apple will have to continue to bet strong on the quality of subscription services!
In addition to its own services, Apple will continue to see revenue increase as regards the remaining services present in the App Store. All thanks to the 30% fee charged for each purchase/subscription made through your app store.
Although this is Apple's big focus for the next few years, it should not be solely responsible for this huge revenue growth. Once again, Sensor Tower believes that the main players will be African and South American countries, which continue to show a surprising evolution.
By 2023, growth is expected to be 296% for the African continent and 296% for South America.
Another curious piece published by Sensor Tower involves the direct comparison between the Apple store and Google. Although the App Store continues to present much higher numbers. Over the same period of time, the Google Play Store should show even greater growth. By 2023, growth had reached 140%.
