Amazon has decided to help users to recognize the songs thanks to a brand new feature of Alexa , intelligent assistant appeared for the first time in the Echo devices .
It is called Song ID and allows listeners to discover the title of the song being played without taking any action. The voice assigned to the virtual assistant, in fact, will pronounce the name of the song before it is played. This tool, according to what was declared by Amazon, was thought after the quite high number of requests dedicated to the recognition of the title of a specific audio track that users continue to pose to Alexa. Amazon Music is the only application in which this tool is available; all other services will be excluded.
Many, however, are convinced that Song ID is extremely annoying , interrupting the flow of songs. Fortunately, every single consumer can decide to deactivate the function at any time. Indeed, Song ID can help many people recognize the title of a song that, perhaps, listens for the first time.
