'Heiress of Huawei' closer to being tried in the United States

The maid 's novel between Huawei, Canada, and the United States seems to have no end in sight, but new revelations may bring bad news for the' Huawei Heiress'. I recall that the daughter of the founder of Huawei - Meng Wanzhou - was arrested in December in Canada by order of the government of Donald Trump.

Since then, he has awaited the court's decision on home arrest and proceeded (or not) with his extradition to the United States. Now, the Canadian authorities have revealed that they have decided to approve Huawei's CFO extradition request.

This decision puts Meng Wanzhou one step closer to being tried in the United States. I recall that the criminal charges of Donald Trump's government could result in a heavy prison sentence for the 'Heiress of Huawei'.

The United States has finally obtained the extradition of the CFO from Huawei

The ruling, although official, requires approval by a judge. Therefore, Meng will appear in court on the 6th. Where a specific date for his extradition should be enacted.

The Canadian justice minister insisted that this ruling does not reflect any opinion on the verdict of charges that Meng faces. By no means do they intend by this decision to make it clear that the Huawei CFO is guilty or not.

However, even if Meng is extradited to the United States. It is almost guaranteed that this will be another process that will continue for a long time. Furthermore, it seems unlikely that Huawei and even the Chinese government will eventually allow the final outcome to involve any type of prison sentence.
