Microsoft Edge receives Picture-in-Picture mode for Android

Microsoft Edge is present on all types of platforms, including Android and iOS, as you may know at this point.

Although it has begun its way in Windows 10 of the company of Redmond, the same one has been added to other platforms. Basically, what Microsoft tried to do was make it available to all potential users.

In fact, although not too famous, the truth is that Microsoft Edge has a high number of excellent features. The latter, in turn, was introduced in Google's Android.

Microsoft Edge is an excellent browser for Android and iOS!

It has to do with support for Picture-in-Picture mode. Through this, you can put a video running on the page where you are and can be placed in the bottom corner of the screen while performing another task. Great? Without a shadow of a doubt.

All you need to ensure to use the browser is to download your application through the Google Play Store, install the latest version and link to your Microsoft account. As long as your Android device has system 8.0 or later, you can use the mode described here.

Finally, it is worth remembering that it is realized that the company of Redmond is not giving up of Microsoft Edge although it will be based on Chromium in the near future. Of course, there are still many applications that could, like Edge, receive the Picture-in-Picture mode for Android.

We will see what will happen in the future about this issue. Either way, you can try other apps with the feature covered, other than Microsoft Edge. YouTube and  Samsung's browser are good examples.
