According to the latest patents, Xiaomi is already working on-screen holes for its smartphones. These holes will incorporate the front camera of the mobile phone.
It is no wonder that the young Chinese company will bring such technology. In fact, I was curious to know when that would happen. Now that patents are a reality, we have only to know what smartphones will be with such ideology.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3S may be the smartphone to receive such technology
The hole on the screen causes the smartphone notch to be removed. Although not a huge fan of this little piercing, I have to admit that I prefer to have a hole for the camera than a notch.
Since Xiaomi has been investing in a 3D facial recognition technology, similar to Apple, I do not think the tiny piercing will reach the top-of-the-range "Mi" smartphones. Unless the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3S is the chosen one.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix has always given us the maximum possible screen. Mi Mix 3 has hidden the cameras in an addictive slider, but the technology is not believed to be ported to the next generation. In this way, we can assume that the hole can perfectly fit in the Mix or even in the middle range and equipment of the Redmi sub.
