XDA staff found the smartwatch firmware and with it some of the information on its specs. As expected, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active will have lower specs than other Samsung smartwatches.
Even though our hopes were high for Android Wear, that's not the case either. The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active will arrive with TizenOS. The screen will be 1.3 "inches with 360 × 360 resolution and OLED technology. The Exynos 9110 processor will be more than enough for worry-free use.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active should have a more friendly price
According to the information, the Samsung Galaxy Active Watch will also come with a 230 mAh battery. The battery is not large, however, this is expected to be the number for the smallest version of the watch. That is, if we have two versions, it is believed that the slightly larger version will have a larger battery. Still, you should give it a day of trouble-free use.
The watch will feature a Dual-SIM version. However, Portugal still does not give the possibility of such technology. Hopefully, with this kind of gadgets, the Portuguese operators decide to evolve a bit.
The smartwatch will arrive with Bixby as an assistant and will have the typical buttons to control the gadget.
When will the new smartwatch be revealed?
Everything indicates that the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active will officially arrive at the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S10. That is, if the rumors are right, we will have the S10, S10 Plus, S10e, folding smartphone and smartwatch at the event on February 20th. However, it would not hurt if Samsung took some of these gadgets to the Mobile World Congress a few days later.
