Fortnite Reaches Peak Of 7.6 Million Simultaneous Players

Apex Legends has come to beat Fortnite, but the Epic game still breathes coolly into the battered Battle Royale market. The previous record of the game recorded 8.3 million concurrent players, and the recent hit brand was also impressive: 7.6 million players, according to Epic told Variety.

The number was reached on the last day 16 and "there was no event going on," added Epic. The value includes all platforms, including mobile. That is: Fortnite behaved this amount of players spontaneously, without any specific programming within the game.

The game remains popular on Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, and any other streaming platforms, often splitting the top with Apex Legends, League of Legends, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Minecraft.

Fortnite is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and mobile devices. Were you part of those 7.6 million players during the peak of Day 16? Count down here in the comments.
