Although its popularity is hard to take off seriously, the augmented reality is being implemented more and more often by the producers in their gadgets and, slowly, the areas in which its use represents an added value.
Whether it is to play in a more realistic and interactive way, to have fun with the avatars, to measure a distance without having to search for the subway or to see through a smartphone what impact a piece of furniture would have inside a room, to know that it can be called into question we must better not have it at all.
For these reasons, an Italian XDA user, Pretoriano80, has developed a Magisk module to enable augmented reality in the Huawei Mate 10 Pro EMUI 9 camera app. And not only that: the test on the top of the range at the end of 2017 gave a positive result, but the developer thinks it can work on other Huawei / Honor with the EMUI 9.
It's up to you to try. Once the module is installed via Magisk Canary the AR Lenses item should appear in the Other section of the camera. For any other details, we refer to the thread special.
