Just the sun is coming up for people to hear about another new Xiaomi smartphone. The tireless Chinese manufacturer does not stop stealing new features in the mobile market, and it looks like another one is coming.
In a publication on Twitter, leaker Ishan Agarwal has released what should be the specs of Redmi Go, the first smartphone with Android Go to be released by Xiaomi. The datasheet follows the standard of the devices that come with this operating system, presenting modest configurations and compatible with a device whose objective is to be cheap and functional.
WhatsApp Business celebrates one year of existence introducing new features
Proof of this is the chipset used by Xiaomi here, a Snapdragon 425, launched in the already distant year 2015. At its side, inside the housing of the device are an Adreno 308 GPU, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage ( expandable up to 128 GB via microSD) and 3000 mAh battery. From the outside, a 5-inch LCD display, 16: 9 aspect ratio and 1280 x 720-pixel resolution is presented to the user. In addition to it, the outside of the gadget features a front 5-megapixel camera and an 8 megapixel rear.
While the spec can be viewed as "weak," it goes without saying that Android Go is a lite version of Android made exclusively for input devices. Therefore, the Redmi Go should not present difficulties to operate, running the system smooth and without gagging.
There is still no release date or price information for the device, but Agarwal risks that it should reach the Indian market costing the equivalent of $ 70.
