It had been some time since we heard of Paranoid Android, a name that will surely awaken some memories among those of you who have had to do with the world of modding; Yesterday, however, those of AOSPA have decided to show their work in recent months: here is the new Paranoid Android for Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S, Xiaomi Mi 5, Xiaomi Mi 6, Xiaomi Mi 8 and Xiaomi Pocophone F1 based on Android 9 Pie.
Well yes, it seems that those of Paranoid have appreciated the smartphones of Xiaomi; the presence of new smartphone-only ROMs by the Chinese manufacturer has been explained in a simple way by one of the Paranoid team on Reddit: many of the Paranoid developers have a Xiaomi because they are cheap and unlockable.
Surely, however, those of Paranoid Android are also working on other smartphones (Google Pixel 3, for example, always mentioned on the comments of Reddit), and therefore we just have to wait for new updates from the team (this is their Twitter account).
Obviously, since this is a first beta release you may encounter some bugs, but you might appreciate the various improvements made by the team above Android stock. Below are the links to the various official threads on XDA , which contain instructions and download links.
