Apple released Smart Battery Case for iPhone XR, XS and XS Max

Apple has finally released the long-awaited Smart Battery Case for the new iPhone line. All of them cost 168, come in white and black colours and are available for iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

As can be seen from the photo, the new covers look almost the same as their predecessors. Behind there are cutouts for the camera and flash, as well as for the Lightning connector. In addition, the back cover protrudes - this is where the built-in battery is located.

Here's how the covers will improve the duration of each device:

  • iPhone XR: up to 39 hours of talk time, 22 hours of work on the Internet and 27 hours of video viewing.

  • iPhone XS: up to 33 hours of talk time, 21 hours of internet usage and 25 hours of video viewing.

  • iPhone XS Max: up to 37 hours of talk time, 20 hours of internet usage and 25 hours of video viewing.

Apple writes that the covers support Qi standard charging, and the cover can be charged along with the iPhone at the same time. The case also supports fast USB-PD charging and can be charged with accessories like AirPods.
