Spotify increases limit of songs that can be downloaded

Spotify is known as one of the most popular music streaming services which is available today, but it’s perfect. This week, the Spotify is revealing that it is making some adjusting to its irritating download limit to let users storing a lot more songs for offline listening.

In the past, they have limited users to downloads of 3,333 different songs to their phone at any given time. For an average user, that limit will probably wouldn’t too much of a problem, but it certainly annoyed to a “power-users.” Now, Spotify according to information on Rolling Stone that they have increased that limit by over 3x to mountainous 10,000 songs. That’s a welcome change.

Along with that, Spotify has also increased the number of smartphones you can download to at once from 3 to 5. that includes computers, phones, tablets, and anything else that can store tracks offline such as a smartwatch, that’s a welcome change. With that increased device limit, this allows a single user account to store up to 50,000 songs offline between their various devices.
At Spotify, we’re always working on improving the experience for our users. We can now confirm that we have increased the number of offline tracks per device — from 3,333 on three devices to 10,000 tracks per device for up to five devices.
