We made a step-by-step instruction for you on how to install the Electra jailbreak for iOS 11 / 11.1.2 with Cydia support. This is a semi-tied jailbreak for 64-bit devices, released by the developer CoolStar.
You've probably already heard about the Electra tool and want to install it, if you have not already done so. However, before you start, you need to prepare well.
Requirements
It's worth noting that this is a semi-tied jailbreak, which means it will need to be reactivated in the Electra application after every reboot of the device. You also need to know that although Saurik has not released an official update of Cydia or Substrate for iOS 11, the final version of Electra has an unofficial version of the application, updated by the developer of the tool. The tool also supports Substitute - an alternative to Substrate, which allows you to install tweaks. Now let's move on to what you need before installing.
- Device with supported firmware: iOS 11.0 - iOS 11.1.2; 64-bit devices, including iPhone X and iPhone 8/8 Plus.
- Program Cydia Impactor, which can be downloaded for free: cydiaimpactor.com .
- The latest available version of iTunes.
- PC with Windows or Mac.
- Free or paid developer account, which can be downloaded at: developer . apple.com and install using your old or new Apple ID.

Instructions
Step 1: Connect your device to a PC or Mac using a cable. Keep a backup of your device through iTunes before proceeding with the process. This is necessary for your protection in case something goes wrong and the data is lost.
Step 2: Open the Cydia Impactor program and drag the IPA Electra file into its window. Then you will need to enter your Apple ID. After that, Cydia Impactor takes the matter into its own hands and downloads the instrument file to your device.
Step 3: When the Electra IPA file is downloaded to the device, do not start the application immediately. Before that go to Settings> General> Profiles and device management and select the profile that you used earlier. Click Trust and confirm your action. Now you can go back to the Electra application and open it.
Step 4: When the Electra application starts, you will see a standard jailbreak interface with a Jailbreak button in the center of the screen. Click on it, and turn on the switch next to the word Tweaks.
Step 5: Wait for the process to complete. If you see the message "APFS Screenshot Created", then everything is in order. Just click Continue Jailbreak . The APFS Snapshot function will allow you to roll back to iOS 11.1.2 using SemiRestore, if something goes wrong.
After the installation is completed, the Cydia application should appear on your home screen.
