Monter Hunter World Reaches 6 million units shipped to stores and sets a record for Capcom, This game was Launched two weeks ago, Monter Hunter World continues to show that Capcom's strategy of adapting the series to certain Western preferences seems to have worked.
The company announced on Friday (09) that the title has surpassed six million units shipped to stores globally - the fastest game to hit that goal in the history of Capcom.
Since the franchise's first game was released in 2004, more than 46 million units of its games have been released around the world. Monter Hunter: World is the first title in the series to hit the home consoles in nine years.
Monster Hunter: World was released on January 26 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox On. A PC version is in Capcom's plans, but it should arrive later this year.
