During the release of financial results for the quarter, Activision revealed that Destiny 2 will receive another "big expansion" by the end of this year.
Without giving details on what kind of content players can expect for the third DLC, the company has emphasized that it should reconnect the community and bring back disgruntled players with title problems.
" This is an incredibly passionate group of players and that passion is a good thing, even when the feeling is critical because it shows how deeply people care about the game, " said Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision. " We are committed to hearing and communicating with our community more often and more transparently than ever, making the right changes to improve the experience and thinking we are on the right track ."
Still, without an official name, the second expansion of Destiny 2 has leaked on PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store in recent months, indicating that it will take the story back to Mars. The expectation is that it arrives between March and June.
