Less than a year after the launch of the Note 3, Infinix Mobility has introduced the Infinix Note 4 as a better and more enhanced alternative in its mid-range Note smartphones.
The Infinix Note 4 is the most popular Note smartphone from the company. Released on the August 2017 and retails for ? 61,000 on shopping stores in Nigeria but got mine at a cheaper rate from Gearbest the Note 4 is all shades of stunning. The device is an update to the Note 3, coming with over the top specs and premium features.
Design
The Infinix Note 4 went one notch higher in the design department as it did not leave anything to chance in turning a pretty smartphone. Apart from size, the first noticeable feature of the Infinix Note 4 is its distinct sleek body that looks very much like the Samsung S7 and S8.
According to Infinix, the design of the Note 4 is inspired by the curve design of automobile manufacturer BMW and this is visibly understandable.
I love the way the back reflects light, you won’t have a clue that’s plastic. Its quite comfortable to hold and operate as well, measuring 8.4mm in thickness. It comes with a large battery capacity, so it’s relatively heavy weighing 196g. There are three colors to choose from, if you want to get the smartphone, either Milan Black, Champagne Gold or Ice Blue.
Display
This was before Infinix went bezel-less with the Hot S3, so there are still bezels here. The fingerprint sensor doubles with the physical home button on the bottom bezel. Two more navigation buttons are also beside the physical home button to the left and right. While the front LED flash and selfie camera sits with no worries at the top.
Enough of the bezels, let's focus on the screen now, shall we? The 5.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is really sharp boasting of 1920 x 1080 pixels in resolution. With 386 pixel per inch density, every detail on the screen will come alive to play all times. Protecting the entire screen is the 2.5D Curved Glass offering durability and rigidity.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio X10 MT6753 chipset with Octa-core processor clocking at 1.3GHz. It has a 64-bit CPU architecture, while the graphics processor is the Mali-T720 MP3 processing unit.
Multitasking shouldn’t be a problem with the Note 4, with the 3GB of RAM space available. In terms of storage capacity, there’s a 32GB internal storage space available to store all files and apps. In case you run out of space you can upgrade up to 128GB using the microSD slot available. The Note 4 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with XOS 2.3 user interface.
Camera
The single rear shooter is a 13MP camera with dua-LED flash, which helps capture 3K resolution images even in dark places. With the Note 4 you can take beautiful photographs with 3264×2448 pixels in dimension. For selfies, the 8MP selfie camera comes with LED flash as well, to help bring out your face even in the low light environment.
Battery
Infinix Note 4 is powered by a massive 4300mAh Non-removable Li-Ion battery, with fast battery charging feature. The XCharge technology on the Note 4 should help boost the battery from 0% to 45% in just 30 minutes.
