Assassin's Creed Origins gets hacked to PC after three months
Italian
After months of the official release, a group finally managed to hack the PC version of Assassin's Creed Origins. The news was shared via Reddit last Saturday (3).
The Italian group CPY got it done after three months because of some anti-piracy measures imposed by the Ubisoft game. The game featured a combination of Denuvo 4.9 technology, VMProtect software, and the Uplay DRM native license.
In fact, this mixture was the object of complaints of some conventional users who verified that the performance of the game was undermined by so many measures of protection. Ubisoft, at the time, denied that this happened.
Assassin's Creed Origins was originally released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 27, 2017.
