The 5 reasons to choose the Umidigi S2 Lite

The latest Umidigi S2 Lite has already started to be sold in the pre-sale and the Chinese brand believes it has a free space to fit it in the market. Once they have released S2 and S2 Pro, Umidigi S2 Lite is an entry-level Android terminal with at least interesting possibilities.

I have said several and I repeat: "Not everyone needs a top of the range." The smartphones of great quality are without a doubt a good bet, however, they are also expensive until saying arrives.

There are people who simply want a terminal for half a dozen tasks, a little play, and social networking. If performance or an excellent camera is not the deciding factor for your purchase, you can start saving money.

Let us look at the reasons that Umidigi gave us for the purchase of his "Lite" model. Not all of them are the best reasons, in my opinion, however, I did not have the smartphone for review, so it's complicated for me to argue without knowing in concrete.

1 - Price -  In this aspect, I can not agree more. The devices with this value are rare, giving us a metal construction, 18: 9 HD + screen and 4GB of RAM. Although not the most powerful in the market, I believe you will be happy with the investment.

2 Performance for the price -  The Umidigi S2 Lite comes with the MediaTek MT6750T processor running 1.5GHz, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. These specifications are not top of the range but convince for the price. The processor has proven to be efficient in terms of the autonomy and fluidity of a clean operating system. This is the case with Umidigi smartphones.

3- Facial Recognition -  I believe this functionality needs to be reviewed in detail. Like OnePlus, Umidigi has made facial recognition available on your new handset, but be aware that it is not as secure as the iPhone Face ID. The Umidigi S2 Lite will only unlock the terminal by the front camera, that is, it is simpler to exceed this factor.


4- Cameras - It is in this segment that I certainly will not fully agree. They point out that the Umidigi S2 Lite takes "fantastic photos". I can even believe in "acceptable" but fantastic only if it is for the price. For 149$  you will not have a fantastic camera. In the last article we saw some examples of photographs and even they were not bad, but they were not "fantastic" either.

5- Full-Screen Screen 18: 9 - The 5.99 "screen is certainly one of the most important factors. although with HD + resolution, I believe that Umidigi S2 has a good saturation. I say this because we have here the S2 for testing and surprised me in this aspect.

The Umidigi S2 Lite has a 5100 mAh battery. With this type of battery, I believe you can take the device for two days of use.

Sincerely for 149$ is a good investment and I know you will like the construction. If you want a little more performance take a look at S2 and S2 Pro. If you do not want to spend a lot of money, the Lite model is for you.
