Composed by Kow Otani , the soundtrack for Shadow of the Colossus will be released on vinyl to celebrate the title remake coming next month. Like the game, the musical presentation of the title also received improvements for the remake, including re-recording tracks with more musicians to increase the sense of scale of the title.
" When it came time to update the song, while we could not redo all the tracks, we wanted to add more depth to the opening and the end, so we increased the number of musicians and added more stringed instruments to the original recordings, " Otani said of the work of track remake. " The purpose of this recording was not to change the tracks, but to make the scale feel even bigger ."
The track has 35 tracks divided into two discs, which will be sold together. The discs are already available for pre-order through the iam8bit store and cost $ 40. See Nimit Malvi 's album artwork below:
The remake of Shadow of the Colossus will officially arrive on February 6 on PlayStation 4 .
