It is logical that Apple runs parallel to a large number of devices at once - and not all of them reach the announcement stage. So, it is reported that now the company has four prototypes of the iPhone of the lineup of 2018 - but only three of them will see the light.
This was reported by Lucit Lin, a senior analyst at Digitimes. Four iPhone, in question, include two OLED-models (6.1 "and 6.5") and two LCD-models (5.8 "and 6.1"). In this case, it is most likely that there will be a 6.1-inch iPhone with an OLED display behind it.
The analyst believes that the company has changed the initial plans and instead of two OLED models and a cheaper 5.8-inch LCD-version it will release just two iPhones with LCD screens and one OLED with 6.5 "screen.
It is worth noting that all four models support wireless charging and Face ID. Apple has not yet decided what models will go into mass production, so the situation may change.
But these three devices will not be all iPhone, which will see the light this year. Also expected a release of the second generation iPhone SE, which will be released in May or June. iPhone SE 2 will support wireless charging, but the TrueDepth camera will remain a flagship of the flagships.
