With iOS 11, Apple introduced a number of new features, including the controversial Control Center we've covered here, as well as a new way to force reboot - restart - of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
On iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, in order for the user to force reboot or reset of these smartphones, simply press and hold the On / Off button while pressing the Volume Down button for at least 10 seconds.
At this point, the Apple logo will appear, sign that your iPhone is restarting successfully.

However, this method can not be used on the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus because it will activate the emergency mode that will send an SOS / distress message.
New functionality that will allow you to connect to the 112 with a simple slide by pressing this combination of buttons. The new version of the operating system has brought some changes, some of which we are still discovering.
If you have one of the new iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus you will have to follow the steps, in the order indicated, that we then instruct you to perform a successful force reboot - restart:
Quick press and release the Volume Up button
Quick press and release the Volume Down button
Press and hold the On / Offside button until the Apple logo appears.
To turn the device off you will have to press the side button for a few seconds until the message "Slide to turn off" appears on the smartphone screen/screen.
