UI limitations/Issues
1. No DPI issue in default theme upto 220 dpi , but some themes will not work properly
Default dpi we put is 212 , you can change it from build.prop file
÷ Prerequisites:
•This Android is meant for only Gionee P4. Please do not try on any other device.
•Your phone should have a custom recovery installed in order to install this Rom on your phone. Twrp 3.0 Recovery For Tecno H6
•We will be using Twrp Recovery for flashing this Rom
•This Rom will wipe out all your data. Make sure you backup all your data in your phone before proceeding.
•Perform a Dalvik Cache wipe before proceeding from the Recovery Mode.

How To Flash Miui 8 Rom On your Tecno H6 5gig
Flashing this ROM is very easy.
1. Make full data Backup before flashing
2. After that download the Custom rom for your device MIUI 8 ROM For Tecno H6 5gig
move the downloaded files to the external storage (sdcard) of your device.
4. Now, switch off your device and boot to recovery mode (press and hold Volume Down button + press Power button).
5. Once you get to the recovery mode, simply perform a full system wipe (Wipe Data/Factory Reset, Wipe Cache Partition and then Wipe Dalvik Cache/ART cache from advanced section).
6. After that click install, then select the MIUI 8.zip file and install immediately.
7. Once
the installation process is completed, simply go back main recovery
menu and tap on Reboot system, and your device would be rebooted.
Flash SuperSu to root the Rom
Once
your device is reboot successfully, you would begin to experience
the wonderful and sweet Miui 8 Rom on your android phone
For Enabling 3G on SIM 2
1.Open the provided Dual sim control app and go to Data Connection tab
2.Press on "Set SIM 2 as 3G"
it'll now set your SIM 2 in "WCDMA Preferred" mode .Enjoy 3G on SIM 2.
If you want to set as "WCDMA Only" mode ,follow step 3,4&5
3.go to settings/about phone and tap 4 or 5 times on Internal Memory , it'll lead you to testing mode
4.From Testing , press Phone information2
5.You'll see "WCDMA Preferred" press it and change it to "WCDMA Only"

Some info about the rom
1.Theme manager apk is chinese one (for both paid and free themes-Only in Chinese beta)
2. For getting paid themes free-
Root the ROM. Open wsm tools.install it , enable all modules. Reboot
Theme download may require mi account, if so create one and sign in. Then download and apply themes.
3.some
themes may cause com.android.media force close error or non readable
toast(ussd code replies) due to dpi issues . change to other themes.
lots of good themes without any issues are present in theme store .try
them.
4.Open camera app and change picture quality from standard to high for high quality.
5.If you didn't get Whatsapp/fb message popups
Open security and give Whatsapp/fb all permission and make it auto start.
Downloading Apps from playstore using mobile data
For
downloading apps from playstore through mobile data you need to set
data download limit to unlimited , otherwise it'll always shows "Waiting
for WiFi"
So here's how to set it to unlimited
1.From tools folder ,open downloads
2.from its settings change size limit to unlimited
Now you can download anything fom playstore using your mobile data

ReplyDeleteI have done that ooo. Flashed successfully... But still facing phone storage showing 5gb, but in exploring in apps. Name 6mb e day show ooo... I can't access the 5gb is showing in settings.
