Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 2 surpass 11 million copies sold

Franchise titles also appear among the company's best sellers

Capcom announced last Tuesday (31) that Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 2 surpassed the mark of 11 million copies sold.

In the general ranking of the company's best-selling games, the two titles appear in third and fourth position, respectively.

Resident Evil 7 recorded 11.7 million copies sold, while the remake of Resident Evil 2 has 11.2 million. See the table below:

Furthermore, both titles in the horror franchise are second only to Monster Hunter: World and Monster Hunter: Rise . It is worth remembering that, in 2023, Capcom is preparing for the launch of the Resident Evil 4 remake , which arrives in March for consoles and PC.
