Slater National Park
The national park is the smallest in Latvia in terms of area among the Big Four. It is located on the western coast of the country, and covers an area of 265 km².

Ķemeri National Park
Established in 1997, the National Park is the third largest in the country, covering an area of 381 square kilometers, most of which is forests and lakes.
The park is famous for its spas rich in hot spring water with healing properties. Forests cover 57 percent of the park area, and swamps about 24 percent.
Rāzna National Park
The park was established in 2007, covers an area of 532 square km, and is located around Lake Razna, the largest lake in Latvia.
14 percent of the park area is covered by water bodies, while forests cover the rest, and these forests provide important habitats for many types of animals and plants.
Gauja National Park
It is the largest park in Latvia, with a total area of about 917 square km. It is located in Vidzeme, and its establishment dates back to 1973.
