Details: According to the UP, the State Bureau of Investigation is conducting a search of Kobolev's house.
Later, the Bureau officially announced that searches were being carried out at the former management of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, at the office of Ukrtransgaz JSC and at the heads of private enterprises in connection with the illegal alienation of natural gas worth UAH 2.2 billion in 2020.
It is indicated that the investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation are carrying out a pre-trial investigation into the illegal alienation of 305 million cubic meters. m of natural gas by officials of JSC "Ukrtransgaz", NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine" in complicity with other persons.
The investigation is checking information about the legality of the return by Naftogaz of Ukraine to commercial structures of a debt that arose more than twenty years ago.
It is indicated that the management of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, at the request of JSC Ukrtransgaz, agreed on documents for concluding a settlement agreement with commercial structures without proper authority and grounds.
Guided by the decision of the management of the state-owned company, the Economic Court of Kyiv approved a settlement agreement, which made it possible to withdraw 305 million cubic meters from state ownership at the end of 2020. m of natural gas.
According to experts, the amount of confirmed damage is 2 billion 182 million hryvnia.
The State Bureau of Investigation indicates that Kobolev, as the head of Naftogaz of Ukraine, signed the decision of the shareholder of JSC Ukrtransgaz on amicable agreements without the approval of the Supervisory Board of the NJSC.
Recall : On April 28, 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Andriy Kobolev from the post of Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.
