OPPO has unveiled its new flagship Find X5 Pro. The gadget, the camera of which was developed by the company together with Hasselblad, received not only advanced shooting capabilities. The list of features of the device includes productive hardware, a protected case and a capacious battery with high power fast charging.
The trump card of the smartphone was its main camera with a unique 5-axis optical image stabilization system that combines lens and sensor shift technologies. This design is used for the first time in the mobile segment. The rear module includes sensors for 50 (f / 1.7, PDAF, OIS), 50 (f / 2.2, wide-angle glass) and 13 MP (f / 2.4, telephoto lens with 2x optical and 5x hybrid zoom).
In addition, the gadget is equipped with a 6nm MariSilicon X co-processor. It is responsible for AI noise reduction and other tasks, including improving the quality of night photos and videos. The vendor claims that the proprietary chip allows the device to capture HDR video with a 20-bit channel. Supports new and Pro mode with Hasselblad Natural Color Calibration using a new 13-channel color sensor and a set of special filters.
The wide-angle module compensates for hand-shake up to 3° and can be used both for taking photos and recording video with electronic stabilization. The selfie camera is equipped with a Sony IMX709 RGBW sensor. The addition of a white pixel allows the sensor to capture 60% more light. The module defaults to an 80° field of view, but automatically switches to 90° when taking a group selfie.
OPPO Find X5 Pro received a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate (from 1 to 120 Hz). The LTPO panel has 1440p+ resolution, 10-bit color reproduction and 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage. The maximum screen brightness of a device calibrated at the factory is 1300 nits. It is protected from scratches by tempered glass Gorilla Glass Victus, and the back cover is made of durable ceramics.
The “heart” of the smartphone is the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with a proprietary cooling system. In Europe, the novelty is presented in a single memory configuration 12/256 GB and is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with support for fast charging with a power of 80 W (45 W by air). The claimed charging time from zero to 50% is 12 minutes.
Among other features of the model, the manufacturer notes protection against dust and water according to the IP68 standard and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The device runs on ColorOS 12.1 firmware based on the Android 12 operating system. The price of OPPO Find X5 Pro is €1300.
