Motorola showed a global version of the world's first smartphone Moto Edge X30, which received Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. In global markets, the novelty will be sold under a different name and much more expensive than in China.
The Moto Edge X30 smartphone was announced on December 9, 2021 and only today officially launched on the global market. True, the name of the device for the global market was changed to Moto Edge 30 Pro (Europe, Middle East, Asia, Africa) and Moto Edge Plus (USA).
The gadget is equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a triple main camera (50 + 50 + 2 MP), a 60-megapixel front camera, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of built-in flash memory. The battery capacity is 4800 mAh with 68W fast charging support.
The smartphone debuted in China in early December and gained great popularity thanks to its affordable starting price of $470, but in Europe the cost of new items will be around €800.
