Blogger PBKreviews on his YouTube channel published the complete process of disassembling the Samsung Galaxy S22+ smartphone. He also previously dismantled the Galaxy S22 and tested its survivability.
The process began with the release of the back panel from the adhesive. After that, the protrusion of the camera and the lens can be detached together with the rear panel as a single unit. The blogger says that they can also be removed if you spend extra time heating and separating the glue. He notes that disassembling the screen is much easier than with gadgets of previous generations: it is enough to heat the perimeter of the display, as a plastic tool calmly releases the AMOLED panel from the frame. There is no flexible cable from the display to the frame in this model.
The insides of the phone can be seen after removing 19 screws and the NFC coil with wireless charging. Carefully examining the camera assembly, you can see that OIS is only available in the wide-angle and telephoto cameras. To remove the battery, you must use isopropyl alcohol - this allows you to loosen the adhesive with which it is fixed. There are several mmWave 5G antennas behind the battery.
Replacing spare parts is not difficult. The blogger rated the maintainability of the Galaxy S22+ at 7.5 out of 10.
