Cooler Master has unveiled a new 27-inch monitor called the GP27-FQS aimed at the gaming audience. The key feature of the model was the Mini-LED matrix with quantum dot technology, wide viewing angles and a high level of maximum brightness.
The novelty is equipped with an IPS panel developed by Taiwanese display manufacturer AU Optronics. According to the specifications, the monitor has a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a response time of 1 ms (GtG), as well as a brightness of up to 600 nits in SDR mode or up to 1200 nits when viewing HDR content. In addition, the monitor boasts high color accuracy (covering 100% of the Adobe RGB gamut, 97% DCI-P3 and 83% BT2020). Its screen is divided into 576 zones for local dimming.
Cooler Master GP27-FQS supports AMD FreeSync Premium and Adaptive Sync technology for smoother gaming experience. The monitor is also equipped with a customizable backlight and 2-watt speakers. Its set of interfaces includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB hub. The complete stand provides height adjustment, rotation and tilt of the screen.
The official price of the Cooler Master GP27-FQS has not yet been announced, but it is expected that the new product will cost about $700.
