Much has been speculated about the permanence of Call of Duty on PlayStation after Microsoft's acquisition of Activision . For the good of the community, as analysts predicted this week , the war franchise will remain in the Japanese giant's catalog, assured Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft Gaming.
The confirmation came in a publication on Twitter on Thursday afternoon (20). According to the post, it appears that Spencer had a conference call with Sony's leaders, where he also confirmed his intention to honor all existing agreements.

Finally, Spencer also pointed out that the competitor is “an important part” of the games industry and said he values the “relationship” with the Japanese giant.
