The shortage of consoles does not even think of becoming a thing of the past, and the most popular next-gen system has always been the PlayStation 5. But although not every gamer has acquired a device, handy pirates are not asleep - apparently, very soon they will finally crack the coveted prefix.
However, there is no concrete confirmation of this yet - only hints from a couple of skilled hackers who have been trying to bypass Sony's protection for a long time and tightly. For example, Znullptr posted a mysterious screenshot of the interface of the fifth PlayStation on his Twitter, and Zecoxao (another well-known coder in narrow circles) stated that something serious is coming for PS5 with firmware 4.03 , and this something is related to the discovery of Znullptr. Unfortunately, both were left without specifics. The Internet, however, immediately held its breath in anticipation of the next jailbreak.
It is worth noting that folk craftsmen have long been looking for holes in the protection of the PlayStation 5. One of these was discovered in November by hacker Andy Nguyen, also known as theflow0 - he even released a screenshot with the debug settings of the console. However, Nguyen did not dare to publicly disclose his secrets.
