Acer has updated two series of branded digital technology at once. The Swift X 2022 laptops feature powerful hardware packaged in thin cases, one of the models equipped with discrete Intel graphics. Monoblocks Aspire C27 and C24, in turn, are equipped with an impressive amount of RAM and Thunderbolt ports for high-speed data transfer.
Acer Swift X SFX14-51G received a 14-inch display with a resolution of 2240x1400 pixels and an aluminum body 17.9 mm thick and weighing 1.4 kg. The laptop is powered by a powerful 12th Gen Intel Core processor and an NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. Heat removal from productive iron is provided by a built-in fan, a keyboard with an air intake and dual heat pipes.
The 16-inch Acer Swift X SFX16-52G is powered by Intel Core 12th processors and Intel Arc discrete graphics. The screen of the new item with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, similar to the 14-inch model, has an aspect ratio of 16:10, 100% coverage of the sRGB color gamut and brightness up to 400 nits.
Both models received up to 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM, PCIe SSDs, Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) modules, two USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support, a pair of USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and one HDMI 2.0. In addition, laptops are equipped with fingerprint scanners and webcams with noise canceling video calls.
Monoblocks Aspire C27 (C27-1751) and C24 (C24-1750) with 27- and 24-inch screens, respectively, received 12th generation Intel Core i7 processors, discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX 550 graphics cards, up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM, SSD- 1TB drives and 2TB hard drives.
The set of new products includes Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 modules, as well as a Thunderbolt 4 port for two-way data transfer at speeds up to 40 Gbps. In addition, the Acer Aspire C27 and C24 are equipped with a 5 megapixel webcam with privacy shutter and two microphones.
Prices and timing of new products on sale will be announced later.
