Apple today released iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2, the second major update to the iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 operating systems that debuted in September 2021. Fresh updates have been released more than a month after the release of iOS 15.1. New versions can be downloaded via the Software Update item in the Settings app on all supported devices.
One of the major innovations in iOS 15.2 is the App Privacy Report feature. It allows you to find out how often programs access confidential information, camera and microphone, as well as to find out which Internet resources applications and websites secretly connect to.
Another important feature will be the function of detecting non-original spare parts in the iPhone , which will be useful when buying a used device - with it it will be possible to check whether the smartphone is really “not broken and not beautiful”.
The fresh update also includes child safety features. In particular, iOS 15.2 provides parents with the ability to turn on alerts for children when they receive or send photos with intimate content. These warnings will contain information about resources that will tell your child what to do if they receive an inappropriate photo or video.
Also, the new OS received support for a new, more affordable Apple Music plan, which supports interaction only using the voice assistant Siri. In addition, iOS and iPadOS 15.2 offer users support for the Digital Inheritance feature, which allows users to inherit their iCloud account information upon death.
The fresh software also received a number of improvements aimed at fixing problems found in previous versions of the OS, including errors when synchronizing with Microsoft Exchange.
