AMD Integrated Graphics Beats Discrete GeForce GTX In Benchmark

Even before the premiere of the new family of AMD Rembrandt processors based on the Zen 3 architecture, the results of testing one of the future novelties appeared on the network. In the synthetic benchmark, the chip demonstrated the impressive capabilities of the proprietary iGPU, which outperformed not only its predecessors, but also a discrete NVIDIA video card with 4 GB of video memory.

"Embedding" of an engineering sample of an unnamed processor model, according to the source, is based on the RDNA Navi 2 architecture and is equipped with 12 execution units (CU). According to the source , the chip scored about 2700 points in the specialized GPU benchmark - more than the NVIDIA GeForce 1050 Ti. The AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with Vega graphics (8CU) scored around 1,700 points in a similar discipline.

The appearance of a new series of "red" processors of the Ryzen 6000 family on the market is expected in early 2022. Their detailed specifications are still unknown - despite the upcoming announcement, the company is in no hurry to disclose details about branded chips.
