OPPO has unveiled the low-cost smartphone A55s. One of its main features has become a full-fledged protection against water, which is not even present in all flagships. The novelty is also equipped with a Qualcomm processor and a display with an increased refresh rate.
The new OPPO A55s has a 6.5-inch LCD display with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. An eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor with support for fifth-generation networks is used as a hardware platform. The smartphone is only available in one configuration - with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. There is support for microSDXC cards up to 1 TB.
The main camera is dual with a 13-megapixel main module and a 2-megapixel additional one. The front camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels. Built-in battery capacity - 4000 mAh. OTG and reverse charging support is indicated.
The smartphone runs ColorOS 11 based on Android 11. The body dimensions are 162.1 x 74.7 x 8.2 mm and weighs 178 g. The device itself is protected from dust and water according to the IP68 standard. Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio.
OPPO A55s will go on sale on November 26 at a price of $ 296. So far, the smartphone has only been announced for the Japanese market.
