Microsoft has announced a new Loop app that will be available as part of a Microsoft 365 subscription and will combine the capabilities of a variety of office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams. Microsoft Loop consists of three main elements: Loop components, Loop pages, and Loop workspaces.
Loop components . Components are separate pieces of content that are available simultaneously in multiple applications and can be updated in real time. Such a fragment, for example, can be notes in a calendar entry, which are also available for insertion into Outlook with subsequent editing in a letter. Various elements such as tables, lists, etc. can act as Loop components. Editing of such elements takes place in the Office cloud applications, thereby ensuring that all users are working with the current version of the file. These elements are also available in the main Loop menu, where the user can see the entire list of available components and pages, as well as the users who are working on editing them.
