DxOMark has tested the rear camera system of the new flagship smartphone Google Pixel 6 Pro. According to the results of the study, the device entered the top ten smartphones with the most advanced cameras, receiving an overall rating of 135 points. Thus, the new Google took 7th place, behind Huawei P50 Pro, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro +, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and the fresh iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max.
The Pixel 6 Pro scored 143 points for photography, 71 points for zoom capabilities, and 115 points for video recording. During testing, DxOMark experts noted a good level of detail in the photo, a wide dynamic range and excellent texture characteristics when shooting from a distance. In particular, it is noted that in terms of the transfer of small details, the Pixel 6 Pro surpasses the iPhone 13 Pro and Huawei P50 Pro.
The Pixel 6 Pro's drawbacks were the shallow depth of field found in cameras with such a large sensor, especially in low light. There is also a lot of noise when shooting with an ultra wide-angle camera in low light conditions.
Recall that the Google Pixel 6 Pro introduced in October boasts a triple rear camera. The main 50-megapixel sensor with a 1 / 1.31-inch matrix is combined with a 48-megapixel telephoto camera and a 12-megapixel sensor supplemented with ultra-wide-angle optics. The front camera of the smartphone is represented by one 11.1 megapixel sensor.
